Centre for Advanced Research in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, MAHE, Manipal, India
The following four publications dedicated to ICLAA 2023 are planned. Two are the journal publications, namely in
Other two are book-volumes with invited and contributed chapters.
The above book-volumes are intended to be published in some reputed book series such as the ISI series of Springer Nature, the CR Rao Series, and the Contemporary Mathematics series of AMS. Proposals and negotiations are in progress.
Research presented at the conference will get an opportunity of possible publication in one of the above publications, subject to acceptance after the standard peer review process adopted by the journals. Papers by nonparticipants are also welcome for submitting the articles which are in the focus of the conference.
The conference ICLAA 2023, Manipal India, the fifth in its sequel, held during December 18 – 21, 2023 provided an avenue for leading Mathematicians, Statisticians, and scientists working in the applied area, who are working around the globe in the theme area to get together in the physical space, interact with each other, discuss several research issues, and introduce new innovations. Around 200 participants registered for the conference and among them 120 delegates actively participated. A total of 28 eminent invited speakers from different parts of the globe delivered invited talks on diverse topics in Linear Algebra and its Applications. Further, 67 contributory speakers presented their research work. This conference was in sequel to the conferences CMTGIM 2012, ICLAA 2014, ICLAA 2017, and ICLAA 2020(21) held in Manipal during January 2012, December 2014, December 2017, and December 2021, respectively.
The conference followed the preconference workshop IWSMGA 2023 which focused on Special Matrices, Graphs, and their Applications. Eminent personalities in the field like Prof. Abraham Berman, Prof. S K Neogy, and Prof. Sivaramakrishnan Sivasubramanian etc., delivered lectures and discussed problems in the tutorial sessions. Nearly 60 participants from different parts of the country benefitted from the workshop.
The theme of the conference focused on the following but was not limited to them.
