St. Lawrence Shrine Basilica or Attur Basilica is a Roman Catholic church in Karkala, India. It was built in 1759 and is purported to be the site of many miracles. St.Lawrence is known as the miracle worker among His devotees worldwide. Attur Church is situated on the outskirts of Karkala in the Karnataka state of India. It is situated 58 km from Mangalore. It is located with the western ghats on the East side, the blue and purple sky above dotted with small jungles.
The Attur Festival celebrated in January is major festival of the church which attracts several thousand devotees.
