Research Interests: Spectral Graph Theory, Linear and Multi-linear Algebra
Achievements: He is a member of the editorial board of reputable journals like Linear Multilinear algebra. Also has a life membership of Orissa Mathematical Society. He is also associated with International Linear Algebra Society.He has supervised three PhD students and currently supervising 1 PhD student. He served as a resource person in many workshops conducted in the University of Kashmir, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, NISER Bhubaneshwar, IIT Guwahati, Gogte Institute of Technology, North eastern regional institute of science and technology, UGC Academic staff College, Guwahati University. He was a speaker in conferences like in 12th annual conference of Academy of Discrete Mathematics and Applications, International Conference on Frontiers in Mathematics, Gauhati, International Conference on Linear Algebra and its Applications, National Workshop and Conference on Discrete Mathematics and Applications, Third India-Taiwan Conference in Discrete Mathematics, International Workshop and Conference on Combinatorial Matrix Theory and Generalized Inverses of Matrices, Indo-French Seminar on Matrix Information Geometries, International Conference on Recent Trends in Graph Theory and Combinatorics, National Workshop on Algebra, Algebraic Topology and related Topics, NEHU and many more. He has authored the book "Linear Algebra with Applications" and he has more than 30 publications. Some of them are strong reciprocal eigenvalue property of a class of weighted graphs, Graphs with reciprocal eigenvalue properties, On some graphs which possess inverses, On The Inverse of a Class of Bipartite Graphs with Unique Perfect Matchings, On the Laplacian spectra of product graphs, A formula for all minors of the adjacency matrix and an application e.t.c.
