Arbind K. Lal – CARAMS

We regret to inform you of the sad untimely demise of Professor Arbind Lal on March 07, 2021 due to heart attack. Arbind, born on January 01, 1966, was a young, dynamic and inspiring professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. He was always a part of the national organizing committees and academic events organized by the CARAMS, MAHE. We express our heartfelt condolences. May his soul rest in peace.

Research Interests: Combinatorics, Coding Theory, Graphs and Matrices

Achievements: He completed his M.Sc. (1988) and PhD (1993) from Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and supervised 5 PhD students, 7 MSc students. He served as a Visiting Fellow at TIFR, Mumbai and HRI, Allahabad. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras campus and Visiting Scholar at Concordia University, Montreal. He has been a resource person in several workshops and published several research articles in reputed national and international journals. More details...
