Achievements: He received his PhD in Mathematics from Indian Statistical Institute. He was a Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pisa, Italy from Jan. 1994 to Sept. 94, with a fellowship from INDAM (Italy) and Post-doctoral fellow at The Fields Institute, Canada from Sept. 94 to Aug. 96, with a fellowship from the Fields Institute. He was awarded the 'INSA Medal for Young Scientists' in the year 1997 by Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi and 'Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology (Mathematics)' in the year 2007.
One of his main contributions ‘Cocycles of CCR flows’ has appeared as a Memoirs of the American Mathematical Society. He was the Joint Editor of a monograph of the Fields Institute on Operator Algebras and it has been published by the American Mathematical Society, also a Joint Author of a Springer Lecture Notes in Mathematics, titled 'Quantum Independent Increment Processes I: From classical probability to quantum stochastic calculus'. He was a part of many successful research projects and also a member of the organizing committee in many conferences and workshops. He is the Chief Editor, Proceedings of the Indian Academy of Sciences-Mathematical Sciences and also a Member, Editorial Board, Journal of Ramanujan Mathematical Society, Annals of Functional Analysis, Infinite Dimensional Analysis, Quantum Probability and Related Topics. He is also a Member of American of Mathematical Society and Reviewer for Mathematical Reviews which publishes reviews of all scholarly publications in Mathematics. He has guided many PhD students, published more than 39 research articles in reputed journals and also published 3 books.
