Research Interests: Combinatorial Matrix Theory (Graph Spectra, Matrix Completion Problems), Finite Fields and applications in Cryptography.

Achievements: He got a PhD from the University of Delhi. He has over 25 years of teaching experience. He has several publications in the reputed national and international journals such as Electronic Journal of Linear Algebra, Linear Algebra and its Applications, Linear and Multilinear Algebra, SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, Journal of Mathematical Cryptology are to name a few. He has guided many MSc, MTech and PhD students. He has attended many International Conferences and been a part of the organizing committee at the International Conference on Geometric Group Theory and was the Coordinator, Instructional Workshop on Algebraic Graph Theory held at IIT Guwahati.
