Somdeb Lahiri

Achievements: Professor Lahiri is currently a Professor of Economics at the School of Petroleum Management, PD Energy University. His current research interests are in microeconomic theory and decision theory. He was awarded Ph. D. in Economics from the University of Minnesota in the year 1986. His teaching interests are Microeconomics, Game Theory, Individual and Social(Group) Choice (Decision Making) Theory, Mathematical methods for economics etc. He is a life member of Indian Econometric Society, Senior Life member of Operational Research Society of India, member of International Society for Multi Criteria Decision Making, etc. He was editor in chief of Studies in Microeconomics, member in editorial board of Journal of Game theory etc. He has delivered talks in number of national and international conferences/workshops.
