Speaker Details of Dr. Sasmita Barik for the event ICLAA 2025

Achievements: Dr. Sasmita Barik is a Professor in Mathematics, at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, India. Prior to joining IIT Bhubaneswar, she was an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Applications, Bhubaneswar, India. Before that she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Regina, Canada under Prof. Steve Kirkland and Prof. Shaun M. Fallat and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi under Prof. R. B. Bapat. She received her Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India under Prof. Sukanta Pati.

Her research interests include Combinatorial Matrix Theory and Spectral Graph Theory.

She is also working as an associate editor of SIAM Undergraduate Research Online (SIURO). More details...
