Achievements: Lina Mallozzi received her master's degree in Mathematics in 1987 and the PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in 1993. She is currently full professor, s.d. STAT-04/A Mathematical Methods of Economics and Actuarial and Financial Sciences, and member of the Department of Mathematics and Applications R. Caccioppoli at the University of Naples Federico II. She teaches courses in Mathematical Analysis and Mathematical Methods for Engineering for CdS in Engineering (Computer Science section) and master's degree in Mathematical Engineering, and also courses in Game Theory for the Doctoral School in Industrial Engineering.

She was visiting professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) and the Helsinki University of Technology (FIN). She has been invited for several seminars at Italian and foreign universities: University of Tilburg (NL), Charles University of Prague (CZ), HEC Business School of Montreal (CA) among others. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences and workshops presenting scientific communications, sometimes also as a member of the organizing committee.

Her research mainly focus on Game Theory, Mathematics for Economics, Optimization Theory. She published several papers in international scientific journals, as well as in proceedings of national and international conferences. She has been referee for several international journals and since 2005 she has been a reviewer of Mathematical Reviews. She is a member of various national and international scientific associations, including ISDG International Society of Dynamic Games and ISOGO International Society of Global Optimization, and member of the Editorial Board of scientific journals as Journal of Global Optimization and Springer Nature Operations Research Forum.
